Pagasa monitors tropical depression outside PAR PAGASA is monitoring a tropical depression off Southeastern Mindanao. The storm was about 2,965 kilometers east of Southeastern Mindanao. Meanwhile, cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will prevail over Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Abra, Batanes, and Babuyan Islands. This is due to the southwest monsoon, or locally known as habagat. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience localized thunderstorms.
